Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Working with other technician to install new networks and troubleshooting of existing systems.
- Resolve, repair and install fiber optics systems.
- Splicing and testing of multimode and single mode fibers in ITS systems.
- Assist in on-site work duties.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Extensive knowledge of fiber optic installations, cable splicing and troubleshooting.
- Can accurately read plans and specifications.
- Comfortable working outside in various climates.
Education & Experience
- Minimum of 12 months of installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber optic systems experience.
Pre-Screen
- Upon offer, employees may be required to subject and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background and/or MVR check.
License & Certifications:
- Valid driver's license required.
Travel Requirements:
- Potential travel required for temporary backup needs at other office locations.
