JOB SUMMARY
The Operations Analyst, Central Valley, will be responsible for leading projects that increase organizational efficiency and efficacy through improved operational processes. The Operations Analyst will also assist the Central Valley Operations Manager in providing exceptional service and support to Aspire’s schools, regional offices, and home office departments to ensure their operational success. The emphasis of this role is to work effectively with regional/home office team mates, teachers, office managers, principals and other team members to understand, support, and (when necessary) reengineer current practices and tools.
Success in this position requires an entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving, a strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skill set, penchant for rooting out inefficiencies, and the empathy to understand the challenges faced by educators at Aspire. The ideal candidate will have K-12 experience, strong customer service skills, data analysis skills, and project management skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Central Valley Business Manager Support
- Serve as a primary regional support and thought partner to school site Business Managers across all Aspire Central Valley Schools.
- Provide ongoing coaching under the supervision of the Regional Director of Operations, focused on strengthening fiscal operations, compliance, internal controls, and operational planning.
- Support Business Managers in building operational capacity aligned to Aspire’s decentralized regional operating model.
- Analyze site-level operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Central ValleyBusiness Manager Operations Community of Practice (CoP)
- Design, plan, and execute the CV Regional Business Manager Community of Practice (CoP).
- Develop agendas, resources, and learning experiences that build CV Business Manager capacity and promote consistent, high-quality operational practices.
- Facilitate cross-school collaboration, shared problem-solving, and dissemination of best practices.
- Central Valley Schools Operations Partnership
- Partner closely with CV Business Managers and CV Principals to collaboratively review, monitor, and improve operational systems and procedures, including but not limited to:
- PowerSchool- Attendance accounting and ADA processes for students
- SchoolMint- Enrollment, records management, and compliance documentation
- Coupa- Procurement, expense, budget, and accounting monitoring/management
- Facilities, safety, and operational readiness
- Conduct site visits and operational reviews to assess implementation fidelity and adherence to Aspire policies and applicable state and federal requirements.
- Support school leaders in responding to audit findings, authorizer requests, and internal reviews.

- Central Valley Compliance Manager
- Data entry
- CALPADs
- FRL/LCFF Forms
- Central Valley Operations Manager
- Teacher calendar, school calendar, etc.
- SARCs
- Additional Duties:
- Collaborate with Aspire shared services teams (e.g., finance, payroll, accounts payable/receivable) to support effective service delivery to school sites.
- Partner with regional academic, student services, and leadership teams to ensure operations effectively support instructional priorities and student outcomes.
- Support regional initiatives related to school growth, transitions, and continuous improvement.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Competencies:
- Demonstrated skills in identifying issues, formulating, and implementing solutions. Ability to research complex problems and develop cost effective solutions
- Love of data! Driven to discover issues and insights that help drive to a decision. Detail oriented with laser focus on connecting data to deliverables.
- Excellent organization, time management, follow-up skills; high sense of urgency; ability to successfully handle multiple projects concurrently; ability to work independently.
- Highly proactive, gets things done and constructively resolves conflicts
- Track record of establishing effective relationships with people in various roles
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; active listening skills a must
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new areas of knowledge and technology
- Effective documentation of projects and deliverables
- Working knowledge of MS Office
Minimum educational level:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, education, or other related field
Experience required:
- 2-4 years experience in operational support, data analysis, and/or process improvement ∙
- Experience or strong interest in K-12 public education
- Experience working in dynamic, high-performing environments

Work authorization requirements:
- Clear the Department of Justice background screening
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Provide health (TB) clearance (renewed every four years)
