Systems Support Technician I-Onsite (Onsite - Carmel, IN)

American Specialty Health Incorporated is seeking a Systems Support Technician I-Onsite to join our Information Technology - Operations (ITO) department. This position will provide technical support to ASH staff and to provide the most efficient and effective resolution.

Remote Worker Considerations:

Candidates who are selected for this position will be trained remotely and must be able to work from home in a designated work area with company-provided technology equipment. This remote/WFH position requires you have a stable connection to your Internet Service Provider with the ability to participate by video in online meetings over a reliable and consistent network (minimum internet download of 50 Mbps and 10 Mbps upload speed).  


  • Equipment Management
  • Maintains consistent software configurations on all PCs.
  • Processes Returns and Shipments
  • Assembles New Hire kits
  • Images new systems for New Hire and Replacements
  • Performs routine system maintenance on all PC equipment and peripherals.
  • Makes minor repairs to computer equipment. With management approval, disposes of inoperable equipment in a secure manner.
  • Maintains hardware and software inventory.
  • Assists with network maintenance, upgrades, and services.
  • Prepares and submits written progress reports, spreadsheets, timelines and other written documentation as directed by supervisor.
  • Attends team, departmental, and staff meetings to discuss issues and foster teamwork.


  • High school diploma required.
  • MCP certification preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a technical support role in a windows network environment.
  • Experience working with all levels of customer solutions related to service desk tickets required.
  • Experience working on queue trends for problem resolution/incidents required.
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills required.
  • Knowledge of PC hardware repair, Windows Operating Systems, MS Office, multi-function printers and supporting remote access.
  • Familiarity of Windows Networking and Active Directory.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Must be a team player.

Onsite Requirement

ASH requires all onsite employees and employees who travel for their position to either (a) establish they have been fully vaccinated; or (b) wear a N95, KN95, or KF94 well-fitting mask while working onsite at an ASH Office.


Primarily mobile, able to move in/out of small spaces, climb, lift, squat, crawl, reaching, work

overhead, and work on single tasks for long periods of time.

Physical Requirements

Ability to speak, see and hear other personnel and/or objects. Ability to communicate both in verbal and written form. Ability to travel within the facility. Capable of using a telephone and computer keyboard. Bending, squatting, crawling, reaching for long periods of time and able to lift weights up to 50 lbs. and push 80 lbs. using dolly or cart.

Usual office setting.

Salary Range

American Specialty Health complies with state and federal wage and hour laws and compensation depends upon candidate’s qualifications, education, skill set, years of experience, and internal equity. $20.40 to $22.00 Annual Salary.
