We are looking for: 

We are looking for Graphics Operators to join our talent network to be considered for future opportunities onsite in the London area. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis as project needs arise. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Operation of slide decks, presentations, video files, or other material during live events and broadcasts. 

  • Receiving cues from presenters verbally, via a cueing system, or directly from Show Caller 

  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for any needs relating to Graphics look, color, formatting, or other related issues 

  • Expert-level proficiency with configuration and programming of Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, Apple Keynote, and other related software platforms. 

  • Ensuring graphics are played out properly for streaming and event space experience. 

  • Able to utilize Qlab, OTA Express, and other systems for video playback. 

  • Work directly with clients, talent, and Producers to ensure presentations are appearing as they were designed and intended. 

  • Conduct rehearsals with the production team, making necessary adjustments to materials and cue sheets, as required. 

  • Take direction from the stage manager or show caller to ensure all cues are executed as intended. 

  • Perform thorough checks before every event to guarantee all equipment is functioning and configured properly. 

  • Test all show playback elements for proper play out. 

 

 

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Graphics Operator,  preferably for large or high profile events, working in high pressure environments. 

  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions. 

  • Professionalism and ability to be helpful and maintain composure under pressure. 

  • Ability to work well in a broadcast team environment, including talent, producers and directors, under strict time deadlines. 

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of broadcast and production technology, including but not limited to Keynote, Google Slides, DSAN Perfect Cue, and Qlab. 

  • Thorough understanding of video transport standards. 

  • Ability to multitask and adapt to rapid show-flow changes in a live and fluid environment. 

  • Excellent control room demeanor, proven leadership skills, team-first attitude and the ability to handle pressure in a fast paced environment. 

  • Ability to interface with both technical and creative members of the event production ecosystem. 

  • Excellent communication skills. 

 

Compensation & Benefits: 

This project-based position offers a pay range of between £300-450/day depending on experience.
