What You’ll Do as a Senior Manager, Global Opex at Arteris

Join our innovative team and help shape the future of semiconductor technology, specifically system-on-chip (SoC) and chiplets. In this role, you will contribute to lead the worldwide transformation of our Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes ensuring smooth, touchless, secure & compliant payment processing globally, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive impact across cutting-edge products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end P2P Process, ensuring timely and accurate invoice and payment processing with proper approvals (including and not limited to 1099 filings, Sales/Use Tax, VAT + GST considerations).
  • Lead the development and execution of strategic roadmaps for P2P, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and effectively managing resources and stakeholder expectations.
  • Drive system enhancements and automation initiatives, identifying high-impact opportunities by utilizing data analysis and feedback to improve employee and supplier experiences within P2P tools and processes.
  • Collaborate closely with finance stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify workflows suitable for automation, leading the identification and execution of such projects, including the adoption of AI.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, IT, and other departments to streamline processes.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities
  • Ensure audit compliance through the timely and accurate management of reconciliations and continuous improvement
  • Support internal and external SOX/ annual audit/ quarterly review/ ISO-9001 requests by providing required documentation and explanations. Develop and maintain fraud detection rules and system checks for all vendor disbursements.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to address inquiries, resolve issues, to ensure great experience for all parties.
  • Monitor Opex Spending and identify saving areas in close coordination with FP&A
  • Drive corporate programs designed to optimize key types of spending, including travel related programs (airlines, hotels, car rentals etc)

What You Bring

  • You'll partner with leaders to implement scalable solutions, using AI, automation and cutting-edge tools to streamline requisition, invoicing, and payments for a seamless employee and supplier experience.
  • The role will be responsible for overseeing and improving the global P2P process, closely monitoring company’s opex spending, ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial policies and providing general support for the Accounting department.
  • The ideal candidate will be passionate about enhancing operational efficiency, collaboration, and be a self-starter with a strong enthusiasm for change management.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience managing end-to-end P2P process and/or leading transformation initiatives in a complex global environment.
  • Strong background in procurement transformation, automation, and change management, with a passion for improving the employee and customer experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, accrual accounting, and AP best practices, multi-entity and multi-currency environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities and experience working in a high-growth or startup environment.
  • Process automation and system implementation experience with proficiency in NetSuite, Tipalti and Concur along with a comprehensive understanding of P2P best practices and metrics.

Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • CPA preferred

 Estimated Base Salary 

$175,000 to $190,000 annually. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
