To assist hiring managers and communities in finding the best possible talent for open employment positions while ensuring compliance throughout the hiring process and that business needs are met.  

Duties 

This position description is designated to outline primary duties, qualifications and job scope, but not limit the individual or the organization to just the work identified. The Talent Acquisitions Manager is the company’s first impression to potential employees and can assist in achieving business goals by attracting the right candidates to the company at the right time. The manager is a member of the Human Resources department and supports multiple communities, while reporting directly to the Regional Director of Human Resources. 

  • Serves as the main point of contact for all frontline recruitment at the community level (including new development projects) for more than 40 openings within an assigned territory
  • Manages the recruitment process for candidates and ensures a positive candidate experience
  • Serves as an expert of the pre-hire process for hiring managers and candidates
  • Screens resumes, interviews candidates (primarily by phone), coordinates interviews, and makes recommendations to hire (or not to hire)
  • Understands the vacant positions and its purpose/hours so hiring the right person with the right abilities and experience is based on objective measures
  • Advocates for candidates by seeking objective reasons for decisions by interviewers regarding proceeding with or denying a candidate
  • Creates trusting relationships with hiring managers (Executive Directors, Business Office Directors, Regional Directors, etc.) by hosting one-on-one meetings with a community’s Business Office Director
  • Maintains a pipeline of qualified candidates for future openings
  • Manages and tracks current candidate activity and open positions using the Applicant Tracking System (Jobvite) and reports in a timely manner on employment activity of assigned positions
  • Fills vacancies in a timely manner
  • Assists with recruitment start-up within new developments or acquisitions
  • Travels to communities to engage in external/internal recruitment efforts when possible
  • Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations when hiring
  • Implements approved recruitment strategies, as well as identifies and tracks the cost, benefit, and effectiveness of recruitment sources and activities
  • Assists hiring managers in communicating important employment information during delivery of employment offers (benefits, compensation, bonus, etc.)
  • Creates offer letters within 24 business hours of candidate accepting their verbal offer
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Organizes and prioritizes multiple demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Adapts to changing priorities, deadlines, and frequent interruptions
  • Completes special projects as assigned and/or other duties as assigned

Requirements 

  • Associate's/Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Minimum of three years of recruitment, healthcare setting preferred
  • Multi-site recruiting or multi-site related experience
  • Knowledge of interviewing methods and techniques
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills
  • Excellent computer skills, including knowledge and comfort with use of Microsoft Word and Excel, and Google Docs, Calendar, and Sheets
  • Exhibits a degree of professionalism both internally and externally
  • Expresses and demonstrates compassion for the elderly
  • Previous experience in high-volume recruiting environments
  • Ability to travel 20 percent of time
