Duties

This position description is designated to outline primary duties, qualifications, and job scope, but not limit the individual or the organization to just the work identified. It is our expectation that each employee will offer his/her services wherever and whenever necessary to ensure the success of our endeavors.

  • Act as a champion of resident events programming, culture, and DEI efforts across communities, training and supporting team members and ensuring understanding of goals.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Present a professional demeanor that communicates a philosophy of service, goodwill, and genuine interest in each resident’s needs.
  • Work with Regional Resident Services team to implement onboarding programs for training and mentoring of new Resident Services Directors and Coordinators at individual properties, including oversight and creation of 90-day plan and audits of departmental paperwork and monthly calendars.
  • Implement outreach and volunteer opportunities.
  • Support lead generation efforts.
  • Review events calendar monthly.
  • Work with Resident Services Directors on social media campaigns, including coordinating efforts within area communities.
  • Support directors in your area with spend downs and budgeted guidelines when needed.
  • Seek opportunities to collaborate with therapy programs (e.g. pet therapy, music therapy, art therapy) within your region and connect communities in your area with unique resources.
  • Support and manage new technology in communities. Help train and ensure technology is being utilized efficiently.
  • Travel within the region to support Resident Services Directors, special projects, and events as needed.
  • Conduct mock surveys for area communities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement social media brand strategies, campaigns, and plans to build brand/company awareness & achieve marketing goals.
  • Act as a liaison between the creative team and other departments for fulfillment of special projects.
  • Work with new developments on signage/rendering needs from concept to fulfillment.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects.
  • Order ID packages for transition communities.
  • Plan, coordinate with appropriate team members, and execute events.
  • Support first impression efforts and model apartment management.
  • Champion of the ambassador program to ensure a supportive and welcoming environment for new residents and staff, as well as to share goodwill with the community at large.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Candidate must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possesses clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to follow written and verbal directions and apply practical problem-solving skills if needed.
  • Professional in appearance and conduct.
  • Must be criminally cleared
  • Shall have had at least one year of experience in conducting group activities and be knowledgeable in evaluating resident needs, supervising other employees, and in training volunteers.
  • Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.
  • Proficiency or experience in Office 365 preferred
  • Positive and energetic attitude

Physical Requirements

This position is primarily sedentary and requires periods of sitting for six to eight hours a day. Employees may also be required to participate in onsite events, which would require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping. This position requires employee to be able to retrieve items from storage, including overhead bins or cabinets. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. The use of a ladder is required. The job functions require both indoor and outdoor work.
