Shop Delivery Driver

Position Summary
Arrow Rental & Supply, a division of XL Construction, is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to support our equipment rental and supply operations. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, experience operating a stake bed truck, and a working knowledge of construction jobsite protocols. In addition to deliveries, this role involves warehouse support, customer service, and maintaining organized inventory and fleet assets.
Key Responsibilities
Driving & Delivery
- Safely operate a stake bed truck to deliver rental equipment and materials to construction job sites
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries at both the warehouse and job sites
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols
Warehouse Operations
- Pull and stage items for outgoing orders based on delivery schedules
- Restock shelves and maintain accurate inventory in the warehouse
- Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of trucks and warehouse space
- Support inbound shipments and verify delivery contents against packing slips
Customer Service
- Communicate professionally with internal teams and external customers
- Answer phones, assist walk-in customers, and resolve basic order or delivery questions
- Represent Arrow Rental & Supply in a courteous and professional manner at all times
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (Class B nice to have but not required)
- 1+ years of driving experience preferred (stake bed truck experience a plus)
- General knowledge of construction equipment or materials
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform physical tasks on job sites and in the warehouse
- Forklift certification preferred (training available if not currently certified)
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-minded
Compensation & Benefits
The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 – $30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. This compensation range aligns with California pay transparency guidelines.
