About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to envision and lead the development of our industry-leading electronic parts lookup software, PartSmart. PartSmart is an award-winning, mission-critical tool for Powersports, Outdoor Power and Marine Dealers, OEMs and Distributors. As the Senior Product Manager, you will be expanding upon the existing product, developing new product strategies to compete in the market and implementing new product offerings to increase the value of our platform for our business and our customers.

This role will focus on developing the next generation of our platform, migrating customers from previous versions to the latest edition, training and educating the customers through webinars and outreach and working with Sales to showcase the product.

Here is more of what you’ll get to do:

  • Develop a keen understanding of the market and customer needs
  • Develop and test product concepts and ideas cross-functionally
  • Analyze competitive strategies and tactics
  • Build business plans for products, including opportunity assessment, positioning strategy, key performance indicators and financial analysis
  • Own the product vision, strategy and roadmap
  • Develop tactical plans to support the whole product, including installation, support and measurement of customer ROI
  • Manage release milestones and guide the development and deployment process
  • Maintain product marketing plans (positioning, tactics, pricing, etc.)
  • Working across organizations, plan and lead successful product launches
  • Ensure product margin and revenue objectives are met
  • Be an evangelist for your products within LeadVenture and the industry

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Senior Product Manager
  • Bachelor's degree (required) and advanced degree (desired)
  • Product experience with powersports, outdoor power or recreational dealership software platforms (“dealer management systems”) preferred
  • Experience developing software using SCRUM or other Agile methodologies
  • Proven success in building and executing product strategy across multiple integrated businesses within an organization
  • Management skills with the ability to effectively direct the organization's product management/marketing function in order to maximize revenues and profit 
  • Excellent presentation development with the ability to effectively and concisely communicate technical information to audiences with varying levels of domain knowledge 
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Specialized skills or abilities we appreciate:
  • Relevant electronic parts lookup software and marketing experience with solid understanding of the Powersport, Outdoor Power and Marine industries
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority, and to work effectively with customers, development, support and sales groups
  • In-depth understanding of software technology, integrations, web services/APIs and software product development
  • Driven individual with good work ethic, highly motivated and strong customer engagement skills
  • Fast-paced and data-driven decision-maker
  • Ability to travel when needed for trade show appearances and dealership visits
