Job Purpose:

 

You will be part of a team of six reporting to the International Payroll Supervisor (based in London), contributing to the completion of India & other Asia Pacific countries payrolls, as well as maintaining compensation and benefit data for employees. You will be joining a team who will be keen for you to succeed and will provide you with opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills, whilst offering guidance and support on various processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for collating Payroll processing (Flexiforms) and coordinate with the payroll vendor for timely processing of the payroll for our employees in India.
  • Process new hires and leavers payroll accurately in accordance with state rules and laws.
  • Maintaining and updating employee’s database, salary structure & attendance in Flexiforms.
  • Taking care of payroll-related statutory payments like PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, bonus & gratuity.
  • Coordinate with the Insurance company for enrolment of confirmed employees.
  • Handling queries from employees related to salary, increment, incentive, PF. etc.
  • Respond to emails in a timely manner.
  • Handle Income tax and full and final settlements timely and accurately.
  • Manage people’s life cycle management activities.
  • Review and improve payroll policies and procedures.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Skills and Experience:

 

  • In-depth understanding of statutory compliances ESI, PF, PT, Gratuity, and other critical payroll laws.
  • Has exceptional attention to detail, with good numerical skills.
  • Is highly organised with the ability to multi-task.
  • Should adhere to the deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Has excellent Excel data manipulation skills.
  • Has previous experience in payroll, with a willingness to learn new skills, desirable experience of payroll software (ADP & Workday)

 

Qualifications & Experience:

 

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Commerce or any related field.
  • 3 to 6 years of relevant working experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Experience in working with the senior leadership team.
  • Working hours: 10am – 7pm IST.
