Who we’re looking for:

The Print Production Operator – Small Format Color at ARC Document Solutions plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of color print projects to meet and exceed client expectations. From receiving orders to delivering the final product, this role demands meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in operating various equipment, and a commitment to delivering high-quality output. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in color printing technologies, possess strong organizational skills, and exhibit a proactive "Whatever it Takes" attitude.

 

In this role you will:

  • Receive, process, and prioritize color print orders, ensuring adherence to customer specifications and deadlines.
  • Estimate job completion times and adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Provide recommendations on paper, binding, productivity, and color workflow options to optimize project outcomes.
  • Prepare digital files for printing, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot equipment issues, making adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal performance.
  • Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to ensure output meets desired standards.
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform minor equipment maintenance and replenish consumables as needed.
  • Assist with billing processes and maintain accurate records of completed work.
  • Collaborate with other departments as needed to support overall business operations.
  • Uphold company policies and regulations, maintaining a positive and customer-focused attitude at all times.

 

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or advanced technical training in the graphics field.
  • 2+ years of experience in the graphics field, with proficiency in graphic applications.
  • 1-2 years of direct experience in color services, design projects, and printing.
  • Thorough knowledge of materials and equipment used in color printing, duplicating, binding, and finishing.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft products.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required.
  • Willingness to assist in other departments and perform additional duties as assigned.
