Role Overview:
The Scanning Specialist is responsible for executing scanning services for both small and large format documents. This includes handling customer documents, preparing and indexing files, operating scanning equipment, and ensuring quality and accuracy throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and plan scanning projects
- Operate scanning equipment and manage production priorities
- Inspect documents and equipment for quality assurance
- Collaborate with managers and clients on standards and timelines
- Maintain records and inventory
- Assist with document pick-up and drop-off (requires lifting up to 40 lbs)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient with Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat
- Familiarity with document imaging principles
