Data Strategy Associate

Data Strategy Associate develops the strategy, recommendations, and playbook and defines program approach, processes, and workflows. They have experience in consulting and related to statistics and data management, project management, customer experience, and web publishing, ideally for justice and social science-related programs. They have 5 years of relevant experience and are ready to lead a consulting team.
Arc Aspicio is currently working a hybrid work environment where work will be performed at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, and remotely. All candidates must live in the Washington, DC area at the time of employment.
Responsibilities
- Leads the integration of the user and customer experience into the strategy and design processes of the web-first approach through both internal and external user engagement
- Defines communication plans and publication approach and maximizes utility of processes with the program staff and with the external user or customer experience
- Lead a small team in developing a strategic solution, then supporting the startup of implementation of the strategy to achieve mission goals
- Collaborate with our clients to solve tough problems, delivering outstanding client service, and achieving mission results
- Apply excellent consulting, business analysis, and communications skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to our team and our clients
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in consulting relate to data management, justice research and analysis, and/or performance measures
- Experience in team leadership and project management (PMP certification preferred)
- Direct experience with programs in statistics or data visualization for Justice-related programs
- Hands-on experience in data analysis and visualization and familiarity with products like Tableau or Microsoft BI
- Proven to be flexible and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Outstanding written and oral communication and collaboration skills and strong leadership potential
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in-person
- Technologically savvy, especially with Microsoft products and use of collaboration tools like SharePoint
- Desire to join a consulting firm and learn business concepts; loves to collaborate and reach out to get involved in company events, offerings, and special projects
- Clearance: US Citizenship only (no dual citizenship)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (social science, statistics/data, or similar research degree preferred)
