A Grants Management Outcomes Specialist is a consultant with expertise in grants management programs, information technology systems, and performance management. They have 7 years of relevant experience and degree in these areas and understand how to measure outcomes and provide best practices in survey design and data collection. Ideal candidates are innovative and have extensive experience in Federal grants and justice programs.

Arc Aspicio is currently operating in a hybrid work environment where work will be performed at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, and remotely. All candidates must live in the Washington, DC area at time of employment.

Responsibilities
  • Support the transformation of grants data collection and reporting processes to enhance the performance of Justice programs and grants
  • Collaborates closely with our clients to solve tough problems, delivering outstanding client service and achieving mission results
  • Define requirements for grants information technology systems and data collection methods to support stakeholders in measuring and achieving grants performance results
  • Recommend process improvement recommendations for use of a grants system and act on implications for customer training
  • Collaborate extensively with clients, team members, and IT contractors to define requirements for and develop systems that are easy to use and align with outcomes
  • Lead data collection and survey design development for a range of Justice programs
  • Apply best practices in data collection, quality, and governance for effective management of grants program data
  • Conduct studies to maximize efficiencies, gather requirements to align performance systems and measures with stakeholders needs and grants outcomes
  • Use analysis, benchmarking, program metrics, and project management to standardize solutions and meet strict standards
  • Maintains high quality of work and adheres to timeline and deliverables to satisfy client expectations
  • Applies excellent data, research, analysis, and communications skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to our team and our clients
  • Contributes to our company culture, which promotes client-focused teamwork, learning, and helping others to grow and develop
  • Supports company growth by developing the team, enhancing company capabilities, and supporting new business and strategic initiatives

 Required Qualifications    

  • Experience in grants management programs, data analysis, and an understanding of the Federal grants lifecycle
  • 7 years of experience in Federal grants programs including performance measurement/grants outcomes, data collection and reporting
  • Experience with IT systems for survey design and collecting and reporting data
  • Experience in best practices in data collection, data quality, and data governance 
  • Experience developing requirements for IT systems to support the grants management data collecting and reporting experience
  • Knowledge of grants performance reporting collection tools
  • Experience with grants management of Justice grants preferred but not required
  • Experience with PEGA Systems or similar systems adapted to grants management preferred but not required
  • Direct experience with client and stakeholder engagement and delivering work products for clients in a complex stakeholder environment
  • Proven to be flexible and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in-person
  • Technologically savvy, especially with Microsoft products and use of collaboration tools
  • Clearance: US Citizenship only (no dual citizenship)/ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area with a major in business or data analytics preferred

Total Rewards: Salary is just one element of our Total Rewards which includes compensation, benefits, bonuses, professional development, and other career opportunities. The projected salary range for this position is $100,000 to $137,000. This range takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets and expertise, experience, education, training, certifications, contract and client requirements (if applicable), and other business and organizational needs. At Arc Aspicio, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
