The Human Resources Senior Associate is a Generalist on the company’s enterprise team, providing support for human resources, compensation and benefits, performance management, recruiting, and office operations for our consulting practice. They own the Employee Experience and help define and lead initiatives in company’s Thrive at Work strategy. The ideal candidate has 5 years of professional work experience including 3 years in human resources. They have excellent communication and organizational skills and understand business and provide strategic business advise to company leaders. Candidates love to teach and coaching people to develop and enjoy reaching out to and supporting our team members. They have strong leadership potential and are on a path to becoming a manager.

Hybrid Work Environment: Arc Aspicio is currently operating in a hybrid work environment with employees at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, and, as approved, remotely. Candidates must live in the Washington, DC area on their start date and work in the DC office approximately two-three days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Talent Team which includes human resources, payroll, and recruiting functions and provides 
  • Own the employee experience, from managing orientation and onboarding through the full employee lifecycle (performance reviews, promotion, mentoring program, and professional development)
  • Lead the recruiting team and process to attract and hire top candidates in a fast-paced environment
  • Accountable for the HR and labor compliance process at the local, state, and Federal levels
  • Leads and supports the company’s Thrive at Work initiatives and company operational and strategic projects to enhance the employee experience as the company grows
  • Supports HR operations in payroll, benefits management, time and expense, etc.
  • Collaborates with the Enterprise team to improve processes and operational efficiency
  • Contribute to and model our company culture, which promotes client-focused teamwork, learning, and helping employees to grow and develop 

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in a professional work environment
  • 3 years of human resources and recruiting experience
  • Experience in a consulting or professional services firm that serves the Federal Government preferred
  • Desire to learn, grow as a leader, coach, and advisor and develop business savvy
  • Absolutely loves to work with people and support their growth in a dynamic business environment
  • Ability to identify challenges and recommend alternatives to senior company leaders, then define and lead employee experience initiatives end-to-end
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills, with the ability to organize many tasks and work effectively on
  • Experience in supporting HR business operations including payroll, 401K processing, expense reporting, etc.
  • Proven to be flexible and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Outstanding written and oral communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in-person
  • Technologically savvy, especially with Microsoft products and use of collaboration tools (SharePoint preferred)
  • Clearance: US Citizenship only (no dual citizenship) / ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Master's degree and/or human resources certifications desired but not required. Business experience strongly desired.

The projected salary range for this position is $70,0000 to $95,000. This range takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets and expertise, experience, education, training, certifications, contract and client requirements (if applicable), and other business and organizational needs. At Arc Aspicio, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
