The Senior Data Architecture Associate makes strategic program recommendations in emerging technology relating to the integration of data visualization, data analytics, and data management platforms and tools. They have experience in consulting, statistics and data management, technology evaluation, user/customer experience, and web publishing, ideally for Federal government clients. 7 years of relevant experience, and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Arc Aspicio is currently working a hybrid work environment where work will be performed at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, and remotely. All candidates must live in the Washington, DC area at the time of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic guidance in analytical and tool environment set up, data management and governance, and data dissemination and data artifact sharing
  • Responsible for providing strategic recommendations and expertise in end-to-end data and information architecture
  • Identify sources, systems, tools to define data processing mechanisms and workflows
  • Develop plans, level of effort, and resource requirements for technical implementation of web publishing and data solutions
  • Interface with program strategy and design team members to improve the program user and external customer experience
  • Collaborate with our clients to solve tough problems, delivering outstanding client service, and achieving mission results
  • Apply excellent consulting, business analysis, and communications skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to our team and our clients

    Required Qualifications

    • 7 years of experience in architecting solutions for data management and visualization to support the adoption of new technology
    • Experience in solution architecture role, from technology strategy through implementation of new data platforms on the web for web-based products
    • Direct experience with programs in statistics or data visualization, preferably with the Federal government
    • Hands-on experience in data analysis and visualization and familiarity with publishing tools and platforms, such as products like Tableau or Microsoft BI
    • Experience integrating data assets and defining data catalogs, connection opportunities, and alignment with Open Metadata schema
    • Proven to be flexible and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
    • Outstanding written, oral communication, and collaboration skills, and strong leadership potential
    • Ability to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in-person, especially with Microsoft products and use of collaboration tools like SharePoint
    • Desire to join a consulting firm and learn business concepts; loves to collaborate and reach out to get involved in company events, offerings, and special projects
    • Clearance: US Citizenship only (no dual citizenship) 
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in data, statistics, or business analytics or other relevant subject area
    • Critical Skills: Entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, resilience, flexibility, learning-oriented, excited to engage

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working with the Federal Government
    • Experience in Justice-related programs and Justice research and data analysis

    Total Rewards: Salary is just one element of our Total Rewards which includes compensation, benefits, bonuses, professional development, and other career opportunities. The projected salary range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000. This range takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets and expertise, experience, education, training, certifications, contract and client requirements (if applicable), and other business and organizational needs. At Arc Aspicio, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
