Data Analyst II
This position is responsible for supporting a broad array of strategic, analytical projects, and planning for the Elevance Partnership and Markets. As a Data Analyst, you will assist with the development of analyses, business cases, and market models that support new market growth strategies and partnership expansion opportunities, as well as ad hoc analytic projects. You will need to interface with various business teams to achieve goals and desired outcomes. The Data Analyst may also be responsible for the project management of a few new market activities or strategies. He/She will be expected to develop a thorough understanding of business needs and coordinate those needs with the overall apree health strategy.
Required Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years experience in analytics, financial planning, consulting, or market research, ideally in the healthcare industry OR Masters/Professional Degree and 1 year of experience in analytics, financial planning, consulting, or market research, ideally in the healthcare industry. Industry experience to include
- Experience developing and maintaining analytical models or business cases that are used to support strategic decision making
- Organization and prioritization of multiple projects
- Creative problem-solving skills and developing frameworks and models for ambiguous problems
- Experience managing projects that require problem solving, prioritization and analytic and organizational skills
- Verbal and written communications skills including interpersonal communication skills, ability to work across departments, present findings and status of projects in a succinct and clear way and build relationships and garner information from various sources
- Experience with data, analytics, model development, and information synthesis, particularly financial and/or clinical information
- Possess a strong analytical background
- Experience working with large data sets and collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather data and understand business requirements for model development
- Consistently seeks to improve existing models and processes for enhanced efficiency and accuracy
- Experience supporting business decisions by providing data-driven insights and analysis, developing and delivering presentations as needed
- Experience with project management, including the development and management of a project plan
- Experience facilitating project work across stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Knowledge of data analysis techniques and industry trends
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) and proficient in Word and PowerPoint
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Health insurance or healthcare industry experience.
- Prior consulting or corporate analytics experience.
Compensation: $67k-$101k/annual salary & bonus eligible
