Healthcare Recruiter
 
 
Position Summary: 
The Recruiter is a full lifecycle recruiter who is responsible for Allied (MA/LPN/RN), centralized services (Behavioral Health, Health Coach) and field support positions as assigned. As one of apree’s frontline ambassadors, the recruiter builds and manages a candidate pipeline, sources candidates, fosters agency relationships, collaborates with employer branding, understands and recommends recruiting strategies, negotiates, and presents and closes offers to selected candidates. 
 
Position Qualifications/Essential Functions: 
  • Responsible for full cycle recruiting to include, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offers while providing a best-in-class candidate experience.
  • Build and manage a robust candidate pipeline. 
  • Specialize in healthcare or healthcare services recruitment. Our model is complex – it involves finding candidates that are a good cultural fit for apree and a good match for the client they are servicing.
  • Partner with the people operations team to maintain equity across positions and departments and to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for candidates. 
  • Work collaboratively with hiring managers to understand business needs and position requirements for assigned open positions.
  • Manage agency relationships as it relates to roles you are assigned to.
  • Develop creative recruitment strategies that promote company brand and attracts qualified candidates.
  • Lend cultural and competency expertise to managers that support the hiring of high-quality candidates.
  • Keep hiring managers apprised of recruitment status within their departments.
  • Assist with maintaining and managing the candidate pipeline including communication outreach and keeping candidates engaged throughout the process.
  • Manage various department programs such as: employee referral program, recruitment branding campaigns, applicant tracking system, etc.
  • Meet established hiring targets and keep within budgetary requirements.
  • Keep apprised of healthcare regulatory requirements and medical credentialing.
  • Maintain and manage applicant tracking system.
  • Other responsibilities assigned as needed.
 
Additional Qualifications preferred
  • Expertise in using standard and direct sourcing tools (social media, corporate websites, job boards, professional associations, alumni organizations, employee referrals, etc.)
  • Ability to identify strong candidates that meet the needs and culture of the company and the client.
  • Knowledge of specialized sourcing strategies, contracted research, and niche websites to build robust candidate pipelines.
  • Knowledge of fundamental concepts, best practices and procedures of recruitment and healthcare industry.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents related to assigned duties, including, but not limited to, resumes, cover letters, recommendation letters, certificates, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write professional letters, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions in a timely manner from candidates, hiring managers, customers, and clients.
  • Must be adaptable to change.
  • Must be able to keep abreast of compliance with all company policies and with all Federal and State laws and regulations.
  • Experience in start-ups, fast-paced environments are a plus.
 
Education/Experience: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Sociology, Psychology, similar discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of three to five years’ of highly specialized recruiting experience in healthcare or healthcare services.

 Demonstrated Attributes: 
  • Must be able to work independently and have objective judgment to determine the best candidate for the job.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present information and respond to questions from Executives, Medical Directors, and department directors.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently with a focus on filling open requisitions within a timely manner.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships throughout all levels of the organization.
  • Execution focused.
  • Must be able to establish priorities and fill requisitions within the desired timelines.
  • Organized and adaptable in a fast paced, start-up environment with a lot of ambiguity and constant change.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google; experience working in a cloud-based environment.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking System; experience with Workday ATS is a plus.
  • Highly organized
  • Must be able to keep abreast of compliance with all company policies and with all Federal and State laws and regulations.
 
Compensation:  $67k-$85k/annual salary (national average, premium markets may vary)
