Senior Buyer
**Ideal candidate will be located in Pacific Region.
The Senior Buyer is responsible for the procurement of goods and services while adhering to the organization's purchasing policies and procedures. This role will support in the areas of Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, Purchasing Operations for our growing organization. The ideal candidate must bring a strong commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and excellence with a proven track record in negotiating contracts, managing suppliers, purchasing and reducing costs in a dynamic, fast-paced and changing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
- Analyze market trends and identify potential suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities and make recommendations.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers.
- Lead and manage the Value Analysis Steering Committee meetings, research and analyze requests and report out to stakeholders.
- Contract Management
- Oversee the contract lifecycle from initiation to closeout.
- Support in the Draft, review, and negotiation of contracts as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
- Manage contract renewals and extensions.
- Purchasing Operations
- Oversee the purchase order process.
- Manage supplier relationships.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Compliance
- Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities.
- Support the development and implementation of purchasing and contract management policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in purchasing and contract management, ideally in a healthcare environment
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suites.
- Experience with Workday or other ERP systems.
- Experience with Workday Strategic Sourcing or other Contract Management systems.

Physical Demands

- Some travel could be required.

Compensation: $61k-$91k/annual salary & bonus eligible
