AppFolio is looking for friendly, service-oriented Office Admin to join us in our Santa Barbara Headquarters. Working closely with our facilities team to maintain a clean, secure and welcoming office space that inspires our productivity, your expertise lies in your positivity, approachability and execution abilities in a rapidly changing environment. As our Office Admin, you will be the first impression for the entire organization and play a critical role in the daily operations of the office.

What You'll Do

  • Manager of First Impressions - you are the first person visitors, customers, and guests will see!
  • Collaborate with the office operations team to ensure that day-to-day office operations are running smoothly (onboarding new hires, desk moves, general employee questions/tasks, making sure the office is tidy, etc.)
  • Handle shipping and receiving (FedEx, UPS and courier services); distribute packages and mail
  • Create & audit employee ID badges
  • Assist with our facilities ticketing system, conference room scheduling and event setup and breakdowns as needed
  • Assist in coordinating office meals, and organizing any company-wide social events and celebrations when necessary
  • Be a value-adding member of the Facilities team, ensuring that culture, office services, and communication are consistent across our Santa Barbara headquarters

Must-Haves

  • 2+ years of work experience in a related office, administrative or coordinator role
  • GED/HS diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, GoToMeeting & Zoom Video Conferencing Software
  • Ability to creatively and efficiently execute against several competing tasks and projects
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and lift 50 pounds - as necessary
  • Current driver’s license required with a clean driving record
