The Regional Events Manager will play a vital role in developing strategy, planning, executing, and managing regional events to exceed our business goals. This individual will oversee third-party trade shows, AppFolio-hosted regional events, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of impactful experiences. Collaborating with internal cross functional teams and external partners, the Regional Events Manager will drive engagement, build pipeline, and strengthen our brand presence in target markets. 

  

Your impact  
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute regional events, including third-party trade shows and AppFolio-hosted events. 
  • Lead in the research and vetting of regional industry association opportunities that help promote awareness, and build pipeline opportunities.  
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Regional Events Playbook, outlining strategies and tactics to achieve desired outcomes. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create a regional events marketing strategy, presenting this strategy to various stakeholders, including leadership. 
  • Manage the end-to-end planning and execution of regional events, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering exceptional attendee experiences. 
  • Build and maintain effective workflows to support regional event programs, optimizing processes for efficiency and scalability. 
  • Track, manage, and maintain regional events budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial targets. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of target markets, audiences, and competitive landscapes, informing event strategies and messaging. 
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and driving collaboration for successful event outcomes. 
  • Measure, track, and report the business impact of regional events programs to ensure efficacy of the events and that we’re meeting event goals and outcomes.  

  

What We’re Looking For 
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience 
  • 6-8+ years of experience in event marketing, trade show, and conference management 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies for regional events, including presenting these strategies to leadership and various teams within the company. 
  • Proven track record of vetting opportunities and developing a regional event portfolio that aligns with strategic business goals. 
  • Proficiency in measuring, tracking, and analyzing the business impact of regional events to inform future strategies and decisions. 
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of articulating strategies to diverse audiences, including leadership 
  • Highly motivated and resourceful problem solver, able to navigate challenges and drive results in a dynamic environment 
  • Experience with Google Suite, Slack, Salesforce, Wrike, Airtable, Cvent, Tableau or similar tools preferred 
  • Positive attitude, collaborative mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional event experiences 

 

Must have 
  • Ability to influence and motivate others, driving collaboration and resolving conflicts between diverse stakeholder groups 
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail 
  • Agile and entrepreneurial mindset, able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and seize opportunities for growth 
  • Experience working with all levels of a sales organization 
  • Regular travel is a requirement of this role. 

 

Compensation & Benefits          
The base salary/hourly wage that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is: $75,000-$105,000     
The actual base salary/hourly wage for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: the candidate’s skills, education, experience, etc.           
Please note that base pay is one important aspect of a compelling Total Rewards package. The base pay range indicated here does not include any additional benefits or bonuses/commissions that you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.
