AppFolio’s Talent Acquisition team is looking for a motivated, creative & passionate professional to support our Diversity & University Recruiting initiatives and additional strategic programs with the Early in Career team. . The internship will provide an undergraduate or graduate student an opportunity to gain experience within a growing software company

What You’ll Do:

  • Research key University partnerships & contacts that correlate to our business needs within Early In Career (EIC) & Experienced Recruiting 
  • Research & track Diversity programs within Universities we are currently partnered with & explore D&I programs, groups & associations that align with our D&I goals.
  • Partner with the Manager, TA - EIC on key initiatives being driven across the organization to build a systematic approach for the recruiting team. 
  • Take key findings & research and create visualizations to share work that is being done 
  • Regularly communicate with the Manager & TA team around D&I areas of opportunity and how we can enhance our Diversity Recruiting efforts. 
  • In partnership with TA Manager create University Recruiting Calendar for Virtual offerings for 2020/2021

What You’ll Have:

  • Currently working towards college degree or have completed University/College degree
  • Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint or Google, as well as how to use social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn)
  • Project management skill set and enjoys problem solving
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Intellectually curious
  • Passion for learning about the recruiting process and fostering an exceptional candidate experience
  • A demonstrated commitment to strengthening diversity and inclusion

What You Will Learn:

  • How Talent Acquisition fits in to the Employee Life Cycle (Recruiting, Onboarding, Ongoing, Off-boarding)
  • How to post and update job postings across various job boards and recruiting channels
  • What it takes to plan and host virtual recruiting events and job fairs
  • The candidate journey, candidate experience and the impact on the organization
  • Attracting talent through employer branding strategies
