What we’re looking for  
 
We are experiencing high-growth and are hiring highly motivated, multifamily experienced software sales professionals with a hunter mentality to sell our award-winning SaaS solution to Residential Property Managers to 5,000+ units multifamily operators.     
  
The Enterprise Account Executive is responsible for thoughtfully engaging prospects with outstanding discovery and thoughtful value based selling skills. This position isn’t for the faint of heart. Only hard working, resilient folks with deep multifamily experience should accept this challenge → not kidding. Don’t apply unless you love a challenge; we are building the Navy Seal’s of pro-tech software sales. This team is special because we are incredibly well resourced and have the entire company pushing toward the goal of selling to larger and larger customers; you will be the tip of the spear. On the Horizon sales team you will help build and create sales strategies that will shape the way AppFolio sells for years to come.    
  
Our Enterprise Account Executives make great pay including uncapped incentives for over achievement, and are supported with exceptional training with continued mentoring from company leadership. Your Impact      
      
  • Consistently achieve quarterly sales quotas using AppFolio sales methodologies.
  • Identify and prioritize Enterprise-level sales opportunities through direct prospecting and lead follow up 
  • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about AppFolio Property Manager.
  • Effectively drive AppFolio’s sales process from engagement to close.
  • Document all sales activity in Salesforce & meeting daily key performance indicators. (If you hate doing this, please don’t apply)
  • Follow direction provided by peers and Sales Management to consistently improve.

     

Qualifications       
  • East Coast based preferred
  • Multifamily Real Estate fluency
  • 4 - 8+ years of successful Multifamily B2B sales experience selling to 2,000-5,000 unit+ owner and fee managers. 
  • Experience using a consultative, solution based sales methodology 
  • Ability to develop trusted relationships and find creative solutions
  • Ability and resilience to work in a fast paced, high volume sales environment
  • Proven record of success exceeding assigned quotas through prospecting and tele-sales
  • Strong computer skills, including Salesforce.com, Powerpoint, Zoom
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience a plus

     

Compensation & Benefits
The base salary that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is: $110,000-$165,000      
      
The actual base salary/hourly wage for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: the candidate’s skills, education, experience, etc. 
Please note that base pay is one important aspect of a compelling Total Rewards package. The base pay range indicated here does not include any additional benefits or bonuses/commissions that you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.
