The Zoura Senior Business Analyst possesses both business and technical acumen at an advanced level. This role supports our Zuora billing and revenue recognition systems, designs scalable solutions, and ensures alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
To effectively support our business stakeholders, candidates for this role must be proactive, detail-oriented, highly technical, analytical, service-focused focused and possess the ability to execute the following skills:
Responsibilities:
  • Business Process Analysis: Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather comprehensive business requirements for our financial systems and processes. Develop detailed documentation, including BRDs, TDDs, use cases and process flows to capture current state, identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization, improvement, and automation. 
  • Solution Delivery: Collaborate closely with technical teams to transform business requirements into comprehensive technical design documents (TDDs). Establish and communicate clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables for critical projects. Ensure adherence to documentation standards and SDLC processes while maintaining open communication regarding project status.
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and maintain the strategic roadmap for Zoura and peripheral financial applications, collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize and recommend the implementation of new features and functionalities that align with key business objectives and drive growth and scalability. 
  • Business Partnership: Foster a product-oriented mindset and build consultative relationships with the finance and accounting teams and other business stakeholders. Deeply understand the processes, challenges, and requirements of your business partners and ensure cross-functional alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Team Building & Development: Contribute to our team culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Take a lead in the team's transformation towards a product-led development approach, championing and implementing improvements to agile methodologies, documentation standards, and advanced testing techniques.
Experience:
  • 8+ years of work experience with Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue implementation and configuration
  • 8+ years of experience implementing subscription billing solutions, particularly Zuora Billing, Zuora Revenue, and integrations with Salesforce and Oracle NetSuite
  • Expert knowledge in Billing models, Revenue Recognition principles, and ASC 606 compliance
  • Experience with Zuora APIs and workflows, leveraging deep technical expertise to design, optimize, and troubleshoot billing and revenue management integrations
  • Leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to-be business process designs, functional configuration, testing, and user training
  • Facilitating the integration of billing solutions to enhance revenue recognition processes
  • Designing custom solutions using Zuora best practices for subscription management and revenue recognition
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Zuora Billing Solutions Architect certification
  • Zuora Revenue Solutions Architect certification
  • Experience with ADW, Snowflake or other data warehouse technologies
  • Experience with CI/CD methodologies for financial systems

Compensation & Benefits
The compensation that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is: $104,000 - $130,000 base pay. The actual compensation for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
Please note that compensation is just one aspect of a comprehensive Total Rewards package. The compensation range listed here does not include additional benefits or any discretionary bonuses you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.
