Sr. Instructional Designer
Description
- Own the Services new hire training experience from beginning to end.
- Serve as the primary project manager and facilitator for all Services-focused new hire training initiatives.
- Develop and maintain all assessments, role plays, and e-course content to provide a cohesive and relevant learning experience.
- Monitor APM Academy to confirm its use by new hires in onboarding at a 95% path completion rate.
- Work cross-functionally with stakeholders across AppFolio to ensure product education stays updated and inclusive of our latest innovation.
- Build & maintain a Coda page for new hires and managers to maintain accountability and clarity of new hire tasks.
- Manage multiple cohorts of new employees ramping into AppFolio, keeping them on track and on task pertaining to the training schedule.
- Build and deliver scaled trainings to revenue org team members.
- Own the new hire training experience for Client Services roles through custom training paths by team.
- Build e-courses utilizing SCORM files and deliver them via an LMS.
- Leverage AppFolio product & process mastery to train others on new GTM and product initiatives.
- Grade and conduct assessments to understand learner performance, and share key observations with hiring managers.
- Deliver live sessions (in person and via Zoom) with high charisma and acumen.
- Design presentations that are visually interesting, yet clear for the learner.
- Foster a strong LMS backend and frontend user experience.
- Facilitate the ongoing success of key operational programs which may include performance analysis and reporting, process/quality management, and/or system maintenance and enhancement
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years in the Services organization
- Project Management experience preferred
- AppFolio Product Expert certified
