Customer Training Specialist
Description
- Accelerate Customer Success - Empower customers with the knowledge and confidence to use AppFolio Property Manager effectively, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience and long-term success.
- Drive Product Adoption - Increase customer engagement by delivering targeted training that enhances understanding, encourages feature utilization, and maximizes the value of the platform.
- Enhance Retention & Satisfaction - Foster positive customer experiences by providing clear, effective training that builds trust and supports long-term retention.
- Influence Product & Training Strategy - Gather customer feedback during training sessions to inform continuous improvements in training materials, customer enablement, and overall product experience.
- Ability to break down complex concepts and make them easy to understand for diverse audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to tailor training based on customer needs.
- Experience working with adult learners or in a SaaS training environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with customer success principles and best practices in user adoption.
- AppFolio Product Expertise – Deep understanding of AppFolio Property Manager, with the ability to guide customers through key features and best practices while continuously staying up to date with product updates and enhancements
- Excellent Communication & Customer Focus – Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset, ensuring clear, engaging, and effective training delivery.
- Project Management & Organization – Ability to manage multiple projects and training sessions simultaneously, develop structured learning plans, and adapt to varying customer needs.
- Training & Facilitation Skills – Experienced and comfortable with delivering training in various formats (on-site, virtual, one-on-one, or group sessions) with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Willingness to travel – Ability to travel to conferences and customer offices a few times a year as needed.
