Sr. Product Marketing Manager
Description
- Cultivate deep product, competitive, customer, and market expertise, enabling you to build insights and confidently share them across the business.
- Create compelling positioning, messaging, customer stories, and thought leadership that drive engagement with our target audiences and personas.
- Collaborate with sales and services enablement to deliver best-in-class readiness frameworks, programs, and resources that ensure client-facing teams are equipped to effectively tell the AppFolio story.
- Establish deep partnerships with product management stakeholders, serving as the go-to-market subject matter expert for your counterparts.
- Plan and lead multifaceted product launches that demonstrate and amplify the impact of AppFolio’s differentiated innovation in the market.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 8+ years in marketing, product marketing, or product management for software - ideally with experience supporting AI and/or data solutions.
- Proven ability to map and lead complex projects across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent writing skills, including the ability to create a broad array of messages and message types for various audiences and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to generate insights from customer, market, and performance data.
- Great stage presence and presentation skills to lead both internal and external presentations.
- Changemaker qualities: You build sound business cases for advancing your ideas and secure buy-in from cross-functional partners and leaders.
- Strategic thinking: You judge whether to jump in and act or zoom out to strategize and possess the willingness and capacity to operate at both levels when appropriate.
