Job Title: File Coordinator

About the Role: 
 
We are seeking out a File Coordinator who will be responsible for contacting health plans to obtain necessary data. This role requires strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional organizational abilities. The ideal candidate will be proficient in administrative tasks and skilled at building and maintaining relationships. A background in the healthcare industry, particularly with healthcare files such as claims, eligibility, and risk adjustment, is highly preferred. 
What You'll Do: 
  • Contact health plans to request and obtain necessary data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and organize healthcare files, including claims, eligibility, and risk adjustment records.
  • Ensure all data is accurately entered and updated in the system.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with health plan representatives and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external parties to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and data protection protocols.
  • Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and ensure efficient data management.
  • Prepare regular reports on data collection activities and status.  
Qualifications: 
 
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in an administrative or file coordination role.
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in the healthcare industry, particularly handling healthcare files such as claims, eligibility, and risk adjustment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with confidentiality and data protection protocols.

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions: 
 
  • Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where the expectation is to work both in office and at home on a weekly basis. The office is located at 1668 S Garfield Avenue, Alhambra, CA 91801  
  • The target pay range for this role is: $21-25/hr. This range represents our national target range for this role.
