About the Role:  
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Analyst to join our data analytics team. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, strong proficiency in SQL and Python, and a solid understanding of healthcare concepts such as HEDIS, HCC, and medical claims data. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing complex datasets, generating insights, and supporting strategic decision-making processes to help our quality and UM departments.  
 
What You’ll Do:  
  • Perform in-depth analysis of large and complex healthcare datasets, including medical claims data. 
  • Generate actionable insights to support business objectives and improve patient outcomes. 
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders. 
  • Utilize advanced SQL skills to query, manipulate, and analyze data from various databases. 
  • Apply Python for data analysis, statistical modeling, and automation of repetitive tasks. 
  • Apply knowledge of healthcare concepts such as HEDIS (Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set) and HCC (Hierarchical Condition Categories) in data analysis and reporting. 
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by validating and cleaning healthcare data. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and clinical teams, to understand data needs and provide analytical support. 
  • Communicate complex data findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. 
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analytics and healthcare. 
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of data analytics methodologies and tools. 
Qualifications:  
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. 
  • 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the healthcare industry. 
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation. 
  • Experience with Python for data analysis and automation. 
  • Solid understanding of healthcare concepts such as HEDIS, HCC, and experience working with medical claims data. 
  • Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical audiences. 
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to data quality and accuracy.

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:  
  
  • This position is remotely based in the U.S. 
  • The total compensation target pay range for this role is: $80,000 - $90,000. The salary range represents our national target range for this role.
