Department: AMG – Clinic Ops
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and organized Part time Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. You will perform a combination of various administrative and clinical tasks. Administrative/ Back Office responsibilities include greeting patients as they come in for their appointment, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, and updating and filing patients’ medical records. Clinical responsibilities include taking medical histories and recording vital signs, explaining treatment procedures to patients, preparing patients for examination, and assisting the physician during examinations.
What You’ll Do:
- Greet patients, answer phones, and take messages
- Schedule appointments and patient follow-ups
- Prepare rooms and ensure supplies are ready, ordering more when necessary
- Clean and sterilize office instruments after procedures
- Assist in procedures and examinations
- Take and record patient vitals; give injections
- Conduct lab testing and follow up with results
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment, and medications
- Fulfill Patients’ medication refills through the Pharmacy and Prior atheization (if needed)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to follow directions given by the Dr. and .or Office Manager
- Strong customer service skills
- Must be reliable and on time
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical assistant certificate
- CPR certification
- Bilingual in Spanish or Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) – preferred but not required

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:
- The clinic is located at 101 Wheeler Ave, Arcadia, CA 91006.
- Clinic hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm (Patients’ appointments may vary within our office hours.)
- The total compensation target pay range for this role is: $20.00-22.00 per hour. The salary range represents our national target range for this role.
