About the Role:
Astrana Health is seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager - Talent Acquisition to drive our efforts in attracting top talent for both clinical and corporate functions. As the Manager, you will play a crucial role in advancing the recruiting strategy, managing direct reports, and directly contributing to filling key senior-level positions. You will foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the Talent Acquisition team, ensuring that Astrana Health continues to raise the bar in hiring high-performing professionals who align with our mission.
What You’ll Do:
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop recruiters, providing guidance and support to drive optimal performance in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent.
- Recruitment Strategy: Further develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies that align with Astrana Health’s overall talent acquisition goals, ensuring the attraction of high-caliber candidates at all levels.
- Senior-Level Recruitment: Personally manage the recruitment process for senior-level, mission-critical roles across the organization, including direct sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
- Raise the Bar: Instill a "raise the bar" mindset across the Talent Acquisition function, encouraging recruiters and hiring managers to continually seek candidates who bring added value, innovation, and leadership to their teams.
- Accountability & Metrics: Contribute to performance metrics for the Talent Acquisition team, holding team members accountable for meeting hiring targets and maintaining high standards of candidate quality and experience.
- Collaboration with Leadership: Partner with department heads and senior leadership to deeply understand hiring needs, align recruitment strategies, and ensure a seamless, consultative hiring process.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and optimize the recruiting process, including candidate experience, time-to-fill, and quality of hire, to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Diversity & Inclusion: Champion initiatives to attract and hire a diverse and inclusive workforce, reflecting the values and mission of Astrana Health.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, PHR) is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 1 year in a leadership or management role.
- Proven experience recruiting for senior-level roles, preferably in healthcare or tech environment.
- Strong understanding of recruiting metrics, with a focus on continuous improvement and accountability.
- Ability to influence and drive change, with a track record of raising the bar on hiring standards.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR technology.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring practices.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where the expectation is to work both in office and at home on a weekly basis. The office locations are in Alhambra and Monterey Park.
- The annual total compensation target pay range for this role is: $110,000 - $120,000. This salary range represents our national target range for this role.
