Job Title: Ultrasound Technician (per diem)
Department: SCHC - Synergy
 
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Ultrasound Technician. This role will report to the Office Manager and enable us to continue to scale in the healthcare industry.
 
What You’ll Do:
  • Perform ultrasound examinations on patients, including but not limited to abdominal, pelvic, prostate, renal, bladder, soft tissue, thyroid, scrotum, and vascular imaging.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly and performing quality control checks. Review and analyze images to ensure they meet diagnostic standards and provide detailed and accurate reports to physicians.
  • Prepare and educate patients about the ultrasound procedure, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Maintain patient records, documenting procedures and results accurately.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
  • Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure high-quality imaging and diagnostic accuracy.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety standards in accordance with hospital or clinic policies.
  • Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques through ongoing education and professional development.
 
Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program.
  • Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent certification - preferred but not required
  • Proven experience as an ultrasound technician, preferably in a clinical setting. Strong understanding of ultrasound imaging techniques and diagnostic procedures.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, as needed.

  • This position is located at 506 W. Valley Blvd. Unit #200, San Gabriel, CA 91776.
  • The total compensation target pay range for this role is: $45.00-48.00 per hour. The salary range represents our national target range for this role.
