Job Title: Mobile Nail Technician

About the Role:     
    
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Nail Technician that will support the team in launching our In-Home Service Program. The Nail Technician will report to the Senior Director of Operations and work closely with the Nail Technician Supervisor to achieve nail goals for clients.    
    
What You'll Do    
  • Perform exceptional nail and pedicure services for patients following established guidelines
  • Perform exceptional nail grooming, massage and exfoliation, and polish application as requested by patients
  • Explain various treatments/services to patients
  • Educate patients on nail care, foot care, and preventative care
  • Maintain inventory and ensure that all equipment is clean, disinfected, and sanitary on a daily basis
  • Collaborate with Quality Care Operation and other internal departments on areas of focus including but not limited to closing gaps in measures, patient health risk stratification and adjustment, health equity, and patient experience optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments such as Strategy & Operations teams, Software Engineering teams, Data Analytics teams, and multiple Health Plan partners
  • Accurately document treatment notes and maintain client cards when appropriate
  • Attend meetings and professional trainings as necessary
  • Display highest level of customer service and safeguard patient experience
  • Establish and maintain good rapport with patients
  • Report accidents or any other concerns regarding patients’ needs to Director
    
Qualifications    
  • Bilingual - preferably in Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin), Korean, or Spanish
  • A minimum of High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED), plus a vocational training or professional nail technician course training
  • A valid state-appropriate Nail Technician license or certification
  • At least 5 years of experience performing a wide variety of nail services
    • Customer service experience is a plus
  • Strong communication skills

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions    
  • The home office is located at 1668 S Garfield Ave, Alhambra, CA 91801. Technicians must be able to travel to client appointments in San Gabriel Valley and work in-office or remotely at home as needed.
  • Technicians must be able to work a flexible schedule, as services may be required during weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • The total hourly compensation target pay range for this role is: $23.00-29.00. The hourly range represents our national target range for this role. 
  • This position requires the following physical abilities: balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, tactile sense, repetitive motions, seeing, hearing, talking, and visual acuity.
