About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated candidate for our Manager - Growth position. This role will report to the Director – Growth and Operations and enable us to continue to scale in the healthcare industry.  This is a hybrid role where the expectation is to work both in office, at home, and in the field on a weekly basis.
 
What You'll Do:
•    Implement the business and payer strategy for Astrana Health in your specific region. Supports corporate leadership in the development, and growth of market-based strategies
•    Coordinate with the Provider Contracting Network Managers to ensure the timely execution of Astrana Health’s provider contracts
•    Support attainment of department goals under the leadership of the Director of Growth and Operations and/or Director of Provider Relations and ensure alignment of these goals with the company’s strategic priorities
•    Meet with providers and attend industry organization meetings and physician networking events, which occur outside of regular business hours
•    Track the region’s market development performance, report metrics and deliver on quarterly and annual growth targets
•    Create and implement outbound sales and business development strategy, processes, internal structure, and best practices
•    Establish working relationships and collaborate with providers’ office staff in executing contracts and adhering to benchmarks set forth in all value-based programs
•    Work independently with limited direction and remain accountable to set and achieve goals and objectives 
 
Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health administration or related field
•    0-2 years of relevant work experience in sales, provider relations, business development, relationship management, etc. in a health care related field
•    Solid history of quickly gaining credibility and trust and partnering with physicians or medical groups
•    Requires experience and or comprehension of Medi-Cal, Cal Medi-Connect, Medicare and Commercial lines of business
•    Requires extensive knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word
•    Prepares Provider Contracting documentation (i.e. contracts, provider network rosters, etc.) in support of internal or regulatory audits
•    Advances skill in using software programs, including Microsoft Teams Meeting, Outlook, Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
 
You're great for this role if:
•    3+ years of relevant work experience in sales, business development, relationship management, etc. in a health care related field
•    Extensive experience with managed care organizations (e.g., medical group operations, IPA’s, etc.)
•    Resourcefulness—the ability to find and implement effective solutions despite time or resource constraints
•    Sound judgement, ability to analyze situations and information, problem solver
•    Ability to work independently with little guidance, as well as collaboratively in a collegial environment with business team members and external stakeholders

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:
•    Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where the expectation is to work in the field and at home on a weekly basis.
•    This position is a field representative position and requires traveling depending on assignments or projects. This could be 2-3 times per week, and also requires monthly visits to provider offices.
•    The target pay range for this role is: $75,000 - $85,000.  This salary range represents our national target range for this role.
