Fund Accountant

Apex Group is looking for an organised and efficient Fund Accountant to join our inclusive and collaborative team. This full-time Accountant remote role offers a favourable salary and benefits package. We want to hear from you if you have Fund Accountancy experience and are looking for a new challenge. 

As a Fund Accountant, you will liaise with clients as required and deal with their inquiries promptly and efficiently. You will also prepare statutory and periodic accounts of the clients and prepare statutory tax returns for the clients. You'll also prepare bank transfers and redemption files for client companies and assist in preparing NAV files for clients. 

To give you an idea of how this Fund Accountant role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do: 

·    Prepare statutory and periodic accounts 

·    Prepare statutory tax returns 

·    Liaise with the independent auditors of the clients 

·    Prepare bank transfers for client companies 

·    Prepare subscriptions and redemption files for clients. 

To apply for this Accountancy role, you will need around 1-2 years of accounting working experience (Fund industry experience would be an advantage). You will also require ACCA qualifications or be partly qualified or any equivalent qualification. You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Experience in Fund accounting software (either Investran, Efront, Paxus or Allvue). Have excellent time and organisational skills.
