Do you have c.10 years ESG experience and are you looking for a new opportunity in London? Apex Group is seeking an ESG Principal, to join the leadership team of Holtara, its dedicated ESG business.  The role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.

As ESG Principal, you will manage a team of consultants and analysts in London who deliver a range of ESG services to mainly private markets clients. This role requires client acquisition and relationship management, business development, strategic-thinking, interaction with the Apex Sales and CRM functions and provision of guidance to fund managers and portfolio companies on ESG and sustainability topics.

• Overseeing multiple projects and supervising a team of consultants and analysts in London
• Encouraging portfolio companies to reduce negative impacts, identify areas to make a positive impact and capitalise on opportunities presented by the sustainability transition
• Participated in Holtara team leadership meetings on the future direction of the business

To apply for this Principal ESG role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

• Experience in one or more of strategy consulting, sustainability consulting, the asset management sector
• Experience with fund management and the ability to influence the ESG strategy of funds and their portfolio businesses
• Experience developing and implementing ESG policies and strategies for investment funds, conducting annual assessments, creating sustainability strategy roadmaps for companies, facilitating ESG strategy sessions and ESG due diligence
• Line management and performance management experience
