We are currently looking for a Product Specialist to join EDB’s Digital Bank (DB). The role will be based in London and will support the development of the product vision, manage product planning, and supervise changes to the Digital Bank, plus play a key role within the EDB DB product team. Role & Key Responsibilities

Product Development

• Lead the development team to evolve requirements into wireframes, specifications, and stories
• Provide supervision and guidance to development teams as a platform SME
• Play a leading role in mitigating impediments impacting the successful completion of sprint goals
• Support the test script development process and test the product as a ticket owner or sponsor

• Lead the end-to-end roll-out of products to customers and internal teams

• Deliver updates to leadership on product development and technical solutions being implemented

Product Analysis

• Apply a structured methodology to consolidate and report enhancements shared by customers and internal teams
• Provide valuable inputs to Business with prioritizing the enhancements, features and issues based on EDB DB’s strategic goals and work with leadership to bring necessary changes to the product
• Deep dive into product related issues and lead specific workstream’s towards a solution

• Map, test and assess the platform currently in place and work with the product team to recommend solutions to continuously improve it
• Evaluate the business impact that technical changes will have on the platform as a subject matter expert and account for any potential constraints

Payments Expert

• Working as POC for the payments team with respect to the payments Platform in solving/raising relevant issues

• Assesses the payment platform currently in place and work with the development team to recommend solutions to continuously improve it
• Support the expansion of DB product Geographical locations
• Prepare proposals for new payment features

*There will also be opportunities to learn and work with other DB business units

Profile Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a computer science or business-related topic
• 4+ years of relevant work experience in a product related role (Fintech startup experience is a strong plus)
• Understanding of account-to-account payments and core banking systems is a strong plus
• Previous project or product management experience is advantageous
• IT architecture, infrastructure or engineering experience is advantageous
• Extensive experience working with JIRA, Confluence, and other dev tools
• Innovative by nature and able to drive changes for an evolving product
• Sound organizational and leadership skills
• Willingness to thrive, learn and lead in an international environment
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
