Apex Group seeks an Assistant Manager - Fund Accounting to join our inclusive and collaborative team. This full-time Assistant Manager-  Fund Accounting role is based in Valencia and offers an attractive salary and benefits package. 

 

 

If you were already in this Assistant Manager - Fund Accounting role, here are some of the areas you would have been working in this week:

  • Maintaining accounting books of allocated portfolio of clients, reviewing and validating financial statements/NAV calculations with minimal senior supervision
  • Timely and accurate processing/reconciling of all fund transactions
  • Assisting in monitoring the ongoing reporting process (e.g Liquidity Management incl Invoice processing/ coordination, monitoring of capital movements etc)
  • Preparation and implementation of entity customer-specific procedures

 

To apply for this Assistant Manager - Fund Accounting role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

  • Good knowledge of alternative fund structures and asset classes (i.e real estate, private equity, private debt)
  • Good accounting knowledge of Private Equity/ Real Estate/ Private debt funds, Holding Companies, SPVs etc (Lux GAAP / IFRS / NAV)
  • Experience in consolidation (an advantage)
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
