Apex Group, a global financial services provider, is looking for an Accounting Manager to support our growing operations in Luxembourg. This full-time Accounting Manager role comes with the chance to join an inclusive and collaborative team. As an Accounting Manager, you will manage a team that deals with the general accountancy of real estate legal entities/funds, processing and booking invoices, execution of payments, management of accounts receivables and accounts payables, reconciliation of balances, fixed assets and miscellaneous bookings.
In your first few weeks in this Fund Accounting Manager role, you can expect to:
- Monitor the team's performance against applicable goals and business targets
- Contribute to constantly evolving and improving the existing system infrastructure, operational framework, and procedures
- Oversee the intercompany reconciliation and consolidation process, where applicable
- Coordinate the preparation and filing of financial statements (balance sheet, P&L and notes)
To apply for this Accounting Manager role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:
- A degree from a business school in Economics or Accounting/Finance or equivalent educational background
- Professional accountancy qualification, or part-qualified “ACCA”, “Bilanzbuchhalter” or equivalent required
- Excellent handling of MS Office applications, in particular MS Excel
- At least 5 years of work experience in the field of Finance/Accounting in the finance sector
- Experience in accounting, including consolidation/controlling of alternative investment vehicles like real estate, direct lending, infrastructure or private equity
