Apex is looking for a hybrid-working Assistant Manager to join a growing team providing a full suite of fund accounting and financial reporting services to our Real Estate fund clients. This full-time Assistant Manager role is based in Saint Helier and offers a compelling salary and benefits for your dedication.

 

In this Assistant Manager role, you will help provide a full suite of fund accounting and financial reporting services to our Real Estate fund clients. You'll account for a complex and varied portfolio of fund structures in conjunction with the Associate Director or Director.

 

During your first few weeks in this Assistant Manager role, you can expect to begin work on some of the following:

  • Prepare and review more complex management and statutory accounts
  • Review complex NAV and NAV per share calculations
  • Review more complex fund capital calls and distributions
  • Manage the audit process, maintenance of audit files, and communication/liaison with auditors for portfolio clients
  • Liaise and act as the day-to-day contact with the fund managers and other external parties on a portfolio of clients
  • Attend board meetings and present financial information

 

To apply for this Assistant Manager - Real Assets position, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include:

  • A professional ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA qualification or equivalent
  • Substantial fund accounting experience, preferably within Real Estate or Private Equity in a professional services environment
  • People management experience and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to multitask efficiently
