Assistant Manager, Fund Administration
Description
Apex Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Assistant Manager (Fund Administrator) to join our collaborative team. This full-time Assistant Manager (Fund Administrator) remote role is based in Japan and offers a favourable salary and benefits. Flexible working hours will be available upon request.
In this role, you will help the Japan country head review the work allocations within the team, be the point of escalation for PAG within Apex and review the output from other Apex locations such as Shanghai.
In your first few weeks in this Assistant Manager (Fund Administrator) role, you can expect to:
- Provide day-to-day oversight to the APEX team supporting PAG for SPC accounting and financial reporting services to a portfolio of real estate structures, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures
- Ensure that all matters required to be completed are performed in a timely and satisfactory manner, including monitoring tasks
- Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation in compliance with Japan GAAP
- Work closely with the relevant Real Estate administration teams in APEX Shanghai to ensure that accounting records are accurate
- Review accounting files for further review and approval by clients and auditors
To apply for this role, you will need experience in managing a team of accountants in Japan and experience with either real estate or private equity investments in Japan. You will also require the following:
- Experience in bookkeeping systems in Japan, such as Kanjo Bugyo
- The ability to work flexible hours
