Account Manager

Description

 

Do you have financial reporting experience, and are you seeking a new job in Valencia? Apex is looking for a full-time Account Manager, and the role comes with an excellent salary and benefits package.

 

As an Account Manager, you will cover financial reporting obligations to support the growing alternative assets team, with a particular focus on the development and mentoring of the team members, implementing procedures and processes for the Valencia office and the private debt team.

 

 

Job specification

 

In your first few weeks in this Manager role, you can expect to:

  • Assist in the development of the Alternative Asset Teams in Madrid and for the day-to-day financial reporting and management of portfolios of clients across the team;
  • Manage specialised services teams on all aspects of financial reporting, including working directly with customers to ensure their structures are run efficiently in compliance with the relevant laws and contractual obligations;

Work with the management team to ensure the planning, coordination and completion of NAVs, Management Reporting and Statutory Reporting of the structures.

Skills Required:

To apply for this Account Manager role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

  • Good knowledge of alternative fund structures and asset classes, such as real estate, private equity, private debt, and private debt;
  • Good accounting knowledge of private equity/real estate/private debt funds, holding companies, SPVs etc;
  • The ability to motivate and influence a team, high level of managerial skills.
