The role:  

   

The Director, Client Services will be responsible to oversee the Client Services team(s) towards shared goals and strategies and ensure delivery in accordance with clients’ SLAs. This role reports to the Country Head of Mauritius.  

   

Role & Key Responsibilities:  

 .  

  • Oversee the work delivered by the Client Services teams to ensure quality service delivery to Apex Group (Mauritius) standards.
  • Responsible to establish effective goals, sales targets and policies that will benefit Apex Group (Mauritius) and increase revenue.
  • Oversee budget and financial activities and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to encourage good business relations and networking for maintaining, extending and expanding the revenue line.
  • Meet and exceed regulatory, internal and client requirements around governance, risk.

   

   

Skills / Experience Required:  

   

  • Professional accounting qualification; Degree and/or MBA or equivalent will constitute an advantage;
  • Have at least 15 years of working experience in the finance and accounting industry;
  • Prior experience working in a large corporate with global responsibility is a key requirement
  • Have extensive client and senior management interaction;
  • Experience in managing leading large pool of talents (over 50);
  • Experience with SLA-driven working environment;
  • Ability to employ critical thinking to make decisions that benefit Apex Group (Mauritius) and its targets;
  • Strong leadership, communication & problem-solving skills with the ability to manage an organization by successfully coordinating staff, resources, and implementing policies effectively; identifying and resolving issues arising quickly & efficiently within Apex Group (Mauritius) framework;
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and strong Excel and data analytical skills with the ability to create and analyse dashboards, reports, spreadsheets and other statistics;
  • Tech-savvy & eExperience in creating delivering presentations decks for presentation at management meeting;
  • Team player and ability to motivate/influence a team;
  • Capable of working effectively at an operational, managerial and strategic level;
  • Experience with performance evaluation processes;
  • Strong analytical & decision-making skills;
  • Results-oriented person and risk-management skills; and
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
