Senior Copywriter/Associate Creative Director

Senior-level Professionals Raleigh, North Carolina

APCO Worldwide, a global communications agency, is looking for a Senior Copywriter/Associate Creative Director to join our North American creative team. The team currently sits across three markets (D.C., NY and NC) and this position will be based in Raleigh, NC. We are a strategically driven public affairs firm that helps clients break through and make an impact in an increasingly distracted, noise-filled environment. The selected candidate will work on one primary account (with a large health care client) along with other smaller clients, partnering with account managers to understand our clients’ business needs and then tapping and working with people across practice groups and offices to determine the best—not just the easiest—solutions to complex challenges.

This talented writer must be highly motivated to lead new biz efforts, pitch to win the room, earn the trust of our clients, come up with the next big idea that can be delivered on time/budget, present original concepts with ease, and speak the language of APCO’s various offerings beyond creative. They must demonstrate an understanding of the business of APCO’s business by working with leadership to make profitable decisions to better processes and performance.
