Key Responsibilities

Partner with client leaders to help grow key large accounts and ensure client satisfaction by:

  • Having a deep understanding of the main social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube) and keeping up with the main digital trends
  • Develop evidence-based social media strategies, advising clients on how to move in the continuously evolving digital landscape
  • Define and develop editorial calendars (in English and Italian) and content strategies across different social media channels including ongoing content and special campaigns
  • Work in close collaboration with the design team overseeing visual assets as part of the editorial content plan
  • Manage client’s social media profiles, including directly publishing content and directly interacting with the online community
  • Plan, implement and optimize social media adv campaigns
  • Support teams with influencer engagement activities as needed, including strategy, scouting, management and coordination
  • Monitor KPIs to evaluate and optimize performance
  • Participate in pitches and business development
  • Work closely with digital analytics and opinion research specialists across APCO's European networks

Qualifications:

  • Ideally, between 4-6 years’ experience in a digital environment, preferably within consultancy
  • Experience in social brand management communications and campaigns (e.g., social reputation assessment, brand positioning, social crisis communications, thought leadership contents, etc.)
  • Degree/post-graduate degree relevant to the position or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English
  • In-depth digital sector knowledge and understanding
  • Excellent communication, writing, editing and presentation skills
  • Excellent client and interpersonal skills
  • Strong interest in wider communications challenges facing a wide range of clients, with a cross-market approach
  • Strong knowledge of social and analytics tools

Technical skills:

  • Strong knowledge of social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite)
  • Strong knowledge of campaign manager tools
  • Good knowledge of influencer engagement tools (e.g., Meltwater)
  • Good knowledge of KPIs and analytics monitoring and reporting tools (specific knowledge of social listening tools such as Talkwalker is a plus)
