The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving in product, shipping out orders, maintaining accurate inventory levels and pulling items for kits as needed. This position also assists in daily warehouse operations as assigned.
Receive inbound freight.
Prepare outbound freight via LTL or parcel.
Use appropriate programs and equipment to receive and transfer product.
Load and unload trucks by forklift or pallet jack.
Pull various parts of kits to be assembled as needed.
Maintain accurate inventory levels at all times.
Maintain a safe and clean shipping and receiving warehouse.
Assist with various facility projects and repairs as needed.
Snow removal and other grounds work as requested.
Fulfill and ship orders, as assigned.
Assemble boxes and kits, as assigned.
Sticker and label product, as assigned.
Operate heat shrink machinery, as assigned.
Other duties as needed.
High School Diploma or equivalent and prior warehouse experience, including forklift experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Ability to work at a fast, consistent pace.
Self-motivated and energetic.
Ability to work overtime during busy seasons or as needed.
Ability and willingness to cross-train.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Communication skills, both oral and written.
Basic computer skills required.
Heavy lifting required.
