A successful candidate will provide support to IT Helpdesk Team who require assistance responding to customer inquiries and will fulfill the role of a subject matter expert for the systems they support. You will work closely with your team and manager, utilize a broad array of web-based tools and programs to assist advisors, and play an integral role in the success of the organization.    

   

The Anthology Student Success IT team is focused on supporting End User Hardware and Software. This position supports End User Hardware and Software and will be primarily focused on Troubleshooting Software and Hardware for End Users.   

   

A successful candidate will be responsible for staying current with, learning, and applying new technologies as well as applying existing knowledge to ensure system reliability.  They will be highly motivated, and Customer Service focused.   

   

Primary responsibilities include:   

  • Troubleshooting a broad range of issues common on desktop computers
  • Troubleshooting Software and Hardware for End Users
  • Analyzing documentation and provide recommendations for improvements to documentation
  • Reviewing support tickets and other data to determine depth and breadth of troubleshooting

   

The Candidate:   

Required skills/qualifications:   

  • Familiarity with desktop computer troubleshooting skills; ability to solve problems and determine root cause of issues
  • Any IT Helpdesk Support/Troubleshooting experience
  • Fluency in written and spoken English at CEF C1 level or above
  • Windows 10/11 experience
  • Knowledge of PC Imagining Software
  • Available to work 2nd shift hours
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Effective handling of multiple critical client support situations and ability to effectively communicate with senior management
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and demonstrate problem solving and resourcefulness in obtaining information
  • Ability to quickly assimilate complex problems and develop a resolution strategy

   

Preferred skills/qualifications:   

  • Microsoft Certified, or other technical certification
  • Associate’s degree in MIS/Computer Science or equivalent experience
