The ideal IT Applications Engineer candidate should have a strong background in supporting a Microsoft D365 ERP environment with the skillset to support various modules across the enterprise system. The candidate should have knowledge to help build out requirements in the application to help facilitate the implementation of small projects with the ERP. This position will help gather, document, and review business requirements, and will work with a team of experienced Enterprise Architects, Technical Architects, other Developers, the Quality Assurance (QA) team. This position will have an in-depth understanding of unique business needs that are required to be processed within the D365 environment. The candidate will need to have excellent written and oral communication skills with all levels of business stakeholders.

 

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the system on issue resolution and reported bugs from the business teams
  • Supporting the business teams in understanding how the system works based on what is configured in Anthology’s current system and if there is potential for optimizing the business process in the future. This involves working closely with process owners, understanding the system functions, analyzing and triaging issues, communicating with users, and resolving and monitoring the issue resolution process
  • Supporting system operations and updates, system monitoring and maintenance, application management, and other technical tasks ensuring that the system is functioning as efficiently as possible
  • Supporting data quality maintenance that involves liaising with business teams, data stewards, auditing and reporting on data quality, and making core data or configuration changes as needed
  • Supporting user proficiency in the system by monitoring user proficiency, creating and conducting training, conducting change management activities, and improving user adoption

 

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Business or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting Microsoft D365 Finance Operations (ERP)
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage time effectively, and have the propensity to handle urgent interruptions professionally
  • Fluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2 level or above
