As Fixed-Term Staffing Assistant, you will perform Student Success interviews, perform onboarding related tasks, and ensure relevant data is entered into multiple recruiting systems in a prompt and accurate manner.

 

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting, managing, and filing of personnel related paperwork to include new hire paperwork
  • Creating offer letters, background check submissions, and administering new hire package 
  • Performing follow-up to ensure that paperwork is returned in a timely and accurate manner
  • Validating and entering HR data for equipment shipments 
  • Responding to routine inquiries from candidates outside the company, such as next steps in the hiring process; ensuring applications are updated
  • Performing routine weekly data reports on onboarding and hiring metrics
  • Handling multiple job tasks at one time and escalating issues in a timely manner 

 

The Candidate:

Required skills:

  • Experience with recruitment processes and databases
  • Experience with various applicant tracking systems
  • Good decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English (equivalent to CEFR C1 level or above)
  • Experience using MS Office, Excel, Word, OneDrive 
  • Attention to detail; excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
  • Must be able to work in a quiet, distraction-free home environment without any conflicting responsibilities during your scheduled work shift
  • Ability to take inbound (voice) phone calls in a conversation-heavy environment
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • Willing to accept a temporary assignment
  • Must be able to work from home with the following internet requirements: High-speed Internet Connection (Cable, Fiber, DSL) 
    • Mobile Broadband is not supported, this is satellite, wireless/cellular hotspot service, and point to point internet service
    • 40 Mbps Download
    • 20 Mbps Upload
    • 100ms Ping or less
    • Jitter: 40 MS or less
    • Hardwired Connection
      • Wired connection from the modem/router to the device, no splits/gaps or usage of Wi-Fi bridges 

     

    Preferred skills:

    • Team collaboration
    • College degree or some college completed with equivalent experience
    • Willingness to learn quickly
    • Ability to multi-task in a highly dynamic environment
