Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing complex SSIS solutions as per business requirements. Applying SSIS for developing the required ETL jobs for various data import needs and implementing all the best practices and standards of ETL in SSIS
  • Writing stored procedures/views/functions to generate data as per business requirements
  • Reading query plans, tuning indexes, and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks to help resolve any application related issues
  • Creating different SSRS reports based on business requirements
  • Designing and developing complex ETL solutions using SSIS or KingswaySoft
  • Designing and developing complex database solutions using SQL Server
  • Creating Import/Export packages in Dynamics D365 solutions
  • Troubleshooting and resolving reported application issues
  • Assisting in the writing of technical documentation, testing, and quality assurance projects as requested
  • Assisting with projects as assigned and supporting various product teams, as necessary
  • Providing problem resolution for end users, including research on various data and reporting issues, and collaborating to gain input on potential solutions
  • Creating and updating Salesforce cases for activity management

 

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience building MSBI Applications and solutions using MSBI Tools like SSIS, SQL, etc.
  • ETL experience primarily in SSIS
  • Expertise in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Experience creating, modifying, and deploying SSRS reports
  • Advanced expertise in writing stored procedures/views/functions, reading query plans, tuning indexes, and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks
  • Experience in debugging stored procedures, views, functions, etc.
  • Experience debugging and troubleshooting existing ETL solutions
  • Power Platform experience (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrating strong analytical and logical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional global teams
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to working with new technologies
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Willing to work in UK shift
  • Fluency in written and spoken English

 

Preferred skills/qualifications:

  • Experience with Windows and IIS troubleshooting
  • Microsoft Power Platform + Dynamics 365 Core certification
  • Experience with MS SSRS and Power BI
  • Experience with Cloud platform (e.g., Azure)
  • Knowledge of MS Dynamics HigherEd Accelerator
  • Experience with HTML and Java Script
